Not sure how old the baby is, but congrats. I also had a c-section, wasnt easy getting the weight off. Try dieting, and take the baby with you for walks. Cardio is the easiest way to lose belly fat. You heal from the outside in, so you might not be all the way healed, so take it slow at first. The more often you walk the faster the weight will come off. My boyfriend is also a marine, so keep him, hes probably a good guy! Best wishes

Losing weight after a baby really isn't that difficult. I don't know if you are breast feeding, but it is a great way to burn calories. Also, you are again ready to work out. Start with walking a couple of miles a day. You can even do this pushing your newborn in a stroller. It is GREAT for both you and your baby! There is nothing like fresh air for a newborn. One of the keys to exercise is to get your heart rate up. That helps to burn calories. Crunches are certainly fine to do for your tummy too. Obviously calorie intake and the type of calories you are taking in have a lot to do with being able to drop as well. I would stay away from sugar completely. Balancing meals with lean proteins and quality carbs (whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and unsaturated fat) reduces cravings and bindgeing. For your dinner, limit simple carbs like bread, rice, or pasta to one serving, or skipping them altogether. "This move forces you to load up on veggies, which everyone needs." Personally, if you are going to eat carbs, do it early on in the morning. That way you will be certain to burn them off by the time you are ready to hit the hay.

Congrats! Yes there are us unforunate sharing the same belly fat problems. If your belly stretched normally with no stretch marks then you should have better luck in getting it back to normal. Since I have belly problem and have tried to find ways, then this is my answer: eat less or more of good for you organic food, exercise at home with handheld weights and move about all different ways to music or tv program. Crunches do work too. If you have lose belly then the only way to get back to your prepregnancy belly is surgery.

Take the baby for walks... If it's too hot go to the local mall and walk with the stroller.. It's a good way to get out and see other people.. You can try crunches just be sure you're doing them properly so you don't hurt yourself... I don't know how long it takes for a c-section to fully heal... good luck

I've had a lot of luck with Winsor Pilates. I know all about not wanting to leave your daughter with anyone. I also had a c section. I also like The Firm, but pilates is better for the core and stomach.
