Support Bush in finishing our obligation in Iraq
Don't Support Illegal Alien fine and amnesty
program of Teddy Kennedy
Support not entering Kyoto accord
Support bringing most military home from
Western Europe
Don't support our building radar bases in Russia
(Still don't trust them, but I was in the military
when they were our enemies, could be me)

Overall, I generally support the President of The United States. I generally supported Bill Clinton when he was President also.

I believe that the decisions a President makes, are made with a lot more information than is available to you and me. He has expert advisers available on everything from the Post Office to Space Exploration, from domestic welfare to foreign policy, from humanitarian aid to war.

I only wish that our political system spent less time with each party trying to discredit or bash the other party and more time working on solutions to problems. We can always point fingers at who was to blame, but to actually fix things takes a little more dedication, clarity of purpose and professionalism than either party apparently has.

People are now starting in with a Democratic Congress approval rates.

This isn't about Republican vs Democrat, it's about if you support or disapprove of Bush.

And if anyone were a true conservative, they would disapprove of Bush.

I support Bush on some issues ,yes. I disagree with him on the amnesty bill he was promooting. I disagree with him on his fiscal spending policies, But I think he has made some very hard decisions and has stood by them after 9/11 was thrust upon him and his Presidency. If nothing else, the man has a set of core values and has not waivered on them a bit, unlike so many other politicians who make decisions based on polls. I admire him for that.

The latest Newsweek poll--July 6, 2007--shows that Bush's approval rating is 26%.

To say I disapprove of Bush is to put it too mildly.

The Presidency isn't a popularity contest. You do what is right for America not for yourself.
