Of course. It's all part of the plan to take back the presidency in 2008. You know how it works. Whatever is popular in the polls is the way they are going to lean.

What, "The no spin zone". If you believe that idiot you are troubled. He's an apologist for the right and his "No Spin" is attempt to blame the left for the failure in Iraq.
I was there from 2004-2006 and I must say the failure was cause by a lack of understanding of the Iraqi people by many of the military leaders. Failure to control the US troops and worst of all the foreign mercenaries that were brought in an allowed to indiscriminately murder Iraqi civilians. Iraq, was lost at Abu Ghraib.
I have a lot of respect for the Marine leaders and I know there are lots of soldiers over there doing a tough job but because they failed to control the PSD, many in the front line military began to believe that it was OK to act indiscriminately and when that 1st lieutenant shot those handcuffed Iraqis and was let go, a message was reenforced that we don't care about Iraqis.
Is there a way to salvage the war? Well yes, Predident Lincoln dumped George McClellan. But the problem is that Bush and Cheney have no moral compass and can not see the rightious from the unrightious so they can not lead the way out of this quagmire just like LBJ moving deeper and deeper into the morass.
We have to stop patrnizing to the Iraqis and make them partners in the solution. They need to lead the way. If we continue to treat them as inferior they will be inferior. Bush can't give them the lead because of his weak and immoral nature. So the only answer left is to get out and let the waters calm.
The right has a vested interest in staying in Iraq because there are billions of taxpayer dollars going into the pockets of their cronies.

Not really, though I certainly understand why it would appear that way to some people.
Here's the distinction as I see it - the left wing is not willing to sacrifice any more lives in order to continue in Iraq, the right wing is.
It could be argued that the left wing is taking more cues from public opinion at the moment.
I suppose the real question is "Does the right truly believe that any measure of success can be attained, or is it simply attempting to save face by not giving in to criticism?" It'll be many years (if ever) before we find out for sure. At the moment, there's no way to know.

We would not have failed in Iraq if we pull the troops out. Iraq would have failed in themselves for not trying harder and also coming together politically as a nation. Those people are at a war with themselves. The U.S. just can't continue to stay there and watch over them.

Yes, it will promote their agenda of placing the US securely within the realm of the UN. It will strip away significant military control and the ability to protect our interests and defend our nation. The UN is a liberal wet dream - why do you think Bill has been courting the member nations and the hierarchy? I see a sincere interest on his part of being Secretary General of the UN. Could it be any scarier: Hill as Pres and Bill Sec General? What could be worse?

I don't believe it is their intent but they aren't accepting that their actions are not working for them so they are bringing down this so called war to a coward's level without knowing it.

Absolutely. In fact the Left has created a situation that anything bad that happens to the United States is good for them, whether it be Iraq, the economy, racism, global warming, you name it. They derive their power from our failures and they have willing accomplices in the mainstream media. Now they want to use the "Fairness Doctrine" to cut off all debate by putting talk radio on the junk heap of history. Let's not let that happen.

by failure you mean removing your men and women from harms way ? I hear the right use this phrase all the time yet not one of you on the right have defined what" winning" is.
so what is "winning", since you can't define failure until you set the parameters for victory.

ROTFLMAO. No.
You see, the left doesn't want America to fail, neither side would like to see a failure in Iraq; it's just they are merely facing reality, a reality that the right just cannot seem to accept. I will however withhold a final judgment until September. But seriously, every day it seems less and less likely that any sort of victory is possible.
