I'm having a surprise party for my dad. All the guests will be in the sunroom which is at the front of the house. The sunroom windows will be covered though, so my dad doesn't see all the guests. I'm just wondering how should we all surprise him? Should we all wait in the sunroom quietly then as he walks up to the front door (linked to the sunroom), should we jump out and yell out "SURPRISE!" or should we all just go to the front of the house when he comes and yell out "SURPRISE!" as he walks towards us, wondering what's going on..Any other ideas? Serious answers only thanks! Thanks ! :)

If he sees that the sunroom is covered, do you think he'll get suspicious which will ruin the surprise?

That depends. Does your dad usually walk into the sunroom when he first goes into the house? If you want to be real subtle about making it a good supirse I'd say do the sunroom idea; because even if he had a hint that he was getting a suprise party he would automatically assume that everyone would walk into the front door, you know what I'm saying - So I personalyl believe that it would be more of a surpise for everyone to wait in the sunroom in your house and then yell "Suprise"
=) !

Hide behind furniture in the sunroom and jump out when yelling surprise when he walks in (this is only if he has no health issues). Additionally, you need to think about where to park the cars. We always chose a store parking lot and then shuttled people from there so the birthday boy/girl would not see the cars.

make sure all the guests cars are nowhere to be seen and wait till he is sitting and relaxing and then have all the guests walk in at the same time and SURPRISE

Either way is ok. It just depends on your dad, does he like immediate shock or should you surprise him more gradually?
