I just got a new widescreen LCD monitor. Want to know the right way to clear the screen?

Go to Best Buy, Circuit City, Comp USA etc. There are special pads (wipes) made for LCD monitors. Not too expensive either. NEVER use anything on an LCD with alcohol or ammonia. This will degrade the screen faster that you can say "oh crap!"

Use a fine and soft duster to clean the screen free from dust particles or
Use a very soft and thin cloth for example the spectacle cloth applied with water.
Clean the plastic surface gently to avoid scratches.

Hello there ! regarding ur question this monitor has the Composition of Liquid Crystal So be tack care to use any unprooved liquid for clening.

Gently!! Don't put too much pressure on it. Best thing is the wipes specially made to do it - from stationers.
