If you can put a tampon in, your hymen is broken. You don't have to have sex to have a broken hymen... even putting a finger or a tampon in will break it.

It's possibly some part of skin that may be in the way, but I'd check with a gynecologist.

It sounds as if something is blocking your tampon, but I doubt its your hymen. Have you been to a gynecologist? You'd get the answer there from a professional. Ask Mom to take you and, in the meantime, use pads. Good luck!

The hymen should not get in the way of inserting or removing a tampon. Go to a gyno asap to see what is going on...

That's not a hymen. It is probably just a piece of skin, go to a gynecologist. (Tampons usually don't break hymens)

Sounds like a hymen to me. I'm not a doctor, and I haven't had a lot of experience with hymens, but from what you are describing, it's consistent.
