Has anyone else ever seen/heard a ghost?

I don't mean the holy spirit, or when your roof creaks at night. Something that you definitely saw or heard, such as a recently deceased relative..

There's an old Chinese....folklore, I guess you can call it, where the recently dead will visit all the places s/he has ever lived before moving on to the afterlife. People would often leave dead's favourite dish on the kitchen table and some of it will be gone by morning.

I remember my cat was going crazy in the middle of the night when my grandma died ages ago. She was a quiet cat who barely made a peep, but the night my grandma passed, she was making a lot of scared noises.

And no, we didn't leave out grandma's favourite dish, so the cat didn't eat anything. She also knew better than to jump on the kitchen table. lol

I used to live in this neighborhood in a particular city and this one block was haunted we believe because the cemetary near by was dumping cremated bodies over the fence into the lot next door that was surrounded by bushes. When the property was purchased and excavated human remains were found and all h*** broke loose in some of our homes. I started to hear children laughing in my kitchen from the other rooms and I thought it was my kids, some times I'd be in the kitchen and I'd hear the silverware fall into the metal sink but when I'd check nothing was in there, I'd here cans fall in my pantry but upon looking again, everything was stacked neatly. One of my battery operated clocks ran backwards, one of my phones whose batteries died kept ringing! My daughter would see "James" around the house and so did a friend of mine who had the gift of seeing spirits.One house on the block became the bad luck house, every family who lived there within less than a year broke up. In yet one other home there were the spirits of two children and in another there was a demon and let me tell you no on liked visiting THAT home! The city had the church pray over the excavated land and in some of the homes but most of us just moved out. As far as I know the land is still as is was barren.

I heard as well as felt the one that was in my old house. I can also tell you that is WAS NOT a deceased relative either. How about a convicted child molester and murderer. It's good to know that the tree that they hung him from in 1873 was right where my house was at.

Yes I was able to research it. The only disturbing part was that my daughter could see him.

i think of the actuality that your grandparents abode became as quickly as a funeral abode explains lots. i think relatively some different individuals right here even have had stories. i think of there is not any doubt that a lot of those issues are genuine. sometime technological understanding could have an explation for the way it works yet until then we could desire to easily have faith what we see and hear. the genuine question is what to do approximately it. I truly have had very sturdy fulfillment in helping the spirits to discover peace, yet this is because of the fact of what i'm... a Priestess. i did no longer chosen the job, it chosen me. I took it because of the fact I serve the writer and he or she has placed me to paintings in some very complicated places... yet She continuously provides me the potential i could desire to do the job. Me and my best friend were going house hunting. The relator couldn't make it so we went by our selfves. We made our way up 2 the attic and I looked out the window and saw a man with a bloody knife in his hand. I know he was a ghost because u could see through him. I knew we should have left but we didn't. Then I heard a loud thump......... It was my friend. She just died on the floor!!! I held her in my arms for 2 days stright. No food or water. The police came and took her from me!!!!!!!!! They said she had no natural cause of death. I knew that man did it!! The whole time shadows were by me!! IT'S TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, many times. I am "sensitive" to paranormal activity. I'm not a clairvoyant, but I am more prone to feel presences, hear, and see ghosts. Not to mention knowing their gender and approximate age. I live in a house that was built in 1910, so you can guess I've definitely had experiences. We have at least 5 to 6 ghosts in our house. The only one I knew is my dog Jake. I see him every now and then. It's actually really confusing, because most of the time, I think it's his sister Annie, who is still alive. The only way I generally know that it's Jake is he used to have a curly tail, and Annie doesn't. Other than that, there are 4/5? others:
"Chester the cat" - he's no cat I've ever owned. I haven't experienced much of him, but he ran down my body when I was laying on the couch one time. At first I thought it was my cat, but I was wrong! LOL
"little Timmy Johnson" - about 7 or 8, likes to move things and put them back weeks later after you've looked all over, including that spot. He turned on my tv once, scared the crap out of me!
"Mary" - A mid-twenties maid/housewife, we've often heard someone "talking" (it sounds like mumbling) coming from the kitchen, knocking dishes out of the strainer, and hearing her moving around. My brother thought I was in the kitchen talking to myself one morning(and yes, I do talk to myself) and then I came downstairs. He freaked!
"The bad feeling" - I've never given a name to this one, and I can't sense an age or gender, although it might be male. When it's around, it just feels like someone is watching you; I don't like this one. I can often tell when I get home from school that it's more active that day just by looking at the outside of the house. I just get this feeling....
"George" - George is by far my least favorte ghost. I believe he's in his mid-forties to early-fifties. He often sits in this one corner of my room. I don't like to even look at that corner when he's there. Then after I turn off the lights to go to bed, he looms over my bed and stares at me. I have to turn away from him, and I can't get to sleep for hours. One time, I finally got sick of it, and I got up the courage to go over to the corner. I told him to go away because I didn't want him there, and after I said it, the curtain that covers my closet rustled, and I felt an energy sweep past me and out my door. He doesn't sit in that corner much anymore. Creepy!!! George and the bad feeling could very well be the same ghost, which is why I say there are five to six in my house. I felt/sensed one one time. One weekend when i was living in the dorms in the air force, my roomate left for the weekend and i was alone I was awaken by a loud buzzing noice. kinda like the sound of silence only magnified. and what ever it was the noise got louder as it came torwards me. i just covered my self with the covers and i felt a force come over me. somewhat similar to what you feel when you are in that gravitational ride at the amusement park where it spins and you are stuck to the walls and you feel your skin move torwards the wall just maybe not as intense but similar. anyway it went over me like that and as it moved away i herd the noise get softer and softer as it went away. i felt neutral to what it was. i did not feel like it was a good or bad spirit but it sure was strange.

Ya i have seen a ghost i was just on my window sitting alone at 12.45 am i just peeped outside and saw that there a woman dressed in white colour dress with her long hairs n sounding wierd.

Yes, my husband returned to explain what had taken place after he died in a car crash. The details of it are private, as I don't like being ridiculed or thumbs-down, so let me say that they do speak and they do comfort.
