Some of my friends say my webpage won't open on their pc but at the same time it does on other pc's

It seemed to work ok for me using Firefox, but I didn't see any graphics, just links in tables. I tested ten links and they all worked. A couple of comments re style: Public Transport - Don't abbreviate. There's heaps of room News Drop the dots News.......... Directories & Maps Miscellaneous - not misc Radio - not Listen to radio Phone Directories Other - not other More papers & Magazines Do it Yourself In the Bush (Up the bush doesn't sound right) On-line News & Videos

Different folks use different browsers and different versions of the same browsers, and even then have different settings elsewhere on their PCs and/or browsers, and even then have different connect speeds...

HTML and CSS and (if they have it enabled and you're using it or them) javascript, pop-up windows, frames, iframes, and various web-page items have notoriously different behaviour in different places. A conscientious website developer has to test, test, test, and rewrite, rewrite, rewrite in lots of places for cross-browser compatibility to the greatest extent possible and make a reasonable compromise...and sometimes, even then, you won't make it, everywhere, to your full satisfaction...
