I would say the world. There is no other band that is able to be so intelligent, innovative and unique and still hit the mainstream. Roger Waters, in my opinion has to be the greatest lyricist ever. There is no other lyricist that can tie together concept albums the smae way he can. David Gilmour is my absolute favorite guitarist of all time. He isn't the fastest guitarist, but the way he plays just sends tingles up my spine. His guitar playing is so emotional, and he has a onderful singing voice. Richard Wright's keyboards and orga playing is so unique and just gives the Floyd such ab atmosphere. Nick Mason isn't the fastest drummer in teh world, but his playing is so in sync with Roger Water's bass. it's amazing. The have to be the best band in the world,

I heard Wish you were here today and I felt like my heart burst into tears and wrapped itself in a hug, all in one. Not many other bands can do that to me so I have to agree.

I do not agree, but they were and to me will remain one of the best bands ever. I think they are fantastic, and their live performances were probably the best ever done.
Beatles are the best.
