I took these photos in NY zoo, well there was no ID tag on the plant. Can someone kindly identify the name of the plant (flower)? Many many thanks.

If you are talking about NY zoo in Thompson park then you might try calling and talking to Sue the animal curator. Here is the number 315-782-6180. I've already tried calling for you, but Sue was not available. Hope this helps.

my best guess is that it's a daphne, the thymelaeceae family. which exact variety is hard to say. the leaf is very like a rhody, like many daphnes have, and the four lobed flower fits the daphne genus, but i did not see a picture of this particular flower in the listing, only similar ones.

I'm not sure but it could be globe amaranth or Gomphrena.
