Yes, it is true that most of the people believe that the girl should be younger to the boy. And it is a scientifically fact that the girl`s Harmon's change more earlier than the boy, which may cause some problems in their peaceful life. That`s why the peoples believe that the girl should be younger to the boy.
As regard the 4 months older than the boy. there is no problem at all but the age of the boy must be considered before allowing the same. He should not be above 40.

Well the first problem is that you are letting boys and girls marry rather than men and women. An age difference of 4 months is not an age difference at all. Most of what people say the woman should be younger than the man. Your second problem is you are listening to people who arent very smart so stop it.

There is absolutely no social, legal, moral or biological problem. Why the girl is ideally required to be younger is because in the case of females aging is faster than boys. Without identifying I pity the particular l969 born boy who has remained single till today when he recently rejected a girl who was 4 to 6 months older. 0ne of my close friend is married to a lady who is said to be 2 years older, and he has not faced any problem till today even after more than 40 years of wedded life.

My husband is 9 yrs. younger than me and this is both of our's third marriages. We've been married for 4 yrs. and together for 10. Our relationship and love for each other is awesome and I never thought I would find a love this true. Been through ALOT of bad stuff in these past 6 yrs that we've lived together and would not have made it for this long if we didn't love each other.

4 months is nothing in a life time. Age shouldn't matter. What your referring to is a gender role. It usually is that way because a guy won't hurt his ego if he gets with a younger woman. In fact it will increase it. There should be other factors to determine if you want to marry someone and age should not be one of them.

It's not a question of age. Some men marry women much older than them, take for example Tom Cruise who married Mimi Rogers who was almost old enough to be his mother.

what is 4 months older...???? if you love someone age should not be an issue (as long as it's legal). younger girls for the boys....i think is an old wives tale.......would like to know the reason though......i know lots of people who have married older women....(they seem happy)....
