I think you should do something on cloning, well its kinda interesting as well as something new too. You could also write about embryology...i mean development of twins. And something that is reallly very interesting is in vitro fertillization.
I was watching this program on the TV a few days back where doctors were joining the separated limbs back to the body parts. They rejoined all the fingers of a man which had been chopped off by factory machine. That too is kinda cool . You could make something on that . And there is always an option on making something on botox. These are some interesting options to choose from

You could do a project on evolutionary biology. I did one once on how whales evolved from land mammals. You can talk about things like pelvic girdles, which are the rudimentary hip joints where they once had legs. There's all kinds of info on that subject, and it's interesting. You can also do a project on the destruction of coral reefs across the globe, and talk about the factors causing it and how we can stop it. Other ideas are a report on the most poisonous animals in the world (box jelly, blue ringed octopus, snakes, etc), or extreme organisms (animals that live in extreme temperatures, extreme pressures, or other extreme environments like deep sea hydrothermal vents, salt lakes, artic environments). Hope this helps. Have fun and good luck.
