I do have grave reservations about giving what is the UK's poorest and least developed county independence. Also, given they'd hardly have an economy if it wasn't for the tourism of people from other parts of England, I don't think they've quite thought it through themselves.
Yea, I know Cornwall has a long history of independence, and I find the history if it and its people fascinating, and their sense of local identity, but really! Cornwall is a county, and a small and sparsely unpopulated one at that, independence is not only completely inviable, it's a ridiculous suggestion.
I don't insist they call themselves English, or embrace us Anglo-Saxon invaders and give p their own culture, but the English-hating Cornish terrorists really are ridiculous.

Quite simple, we don't know who to trust and who not to. YOU may not have a problem with race, black people or interracial marriages, but have you read some of these posts by your fellow white Americans? How do we know the guy in the office next ot us, or the cop that pulls us over because our license plate light is out, or the woman teaching our kids aren't the same ignorant @ssholes who hide on this site, posting garbage? And as far as slavery being over and us not "getting over it" (never get tired of hearing that one), very few white people I've encountered have the social awareness to understand and recognized the viscous circle of racism, that started with their own. I'm not saying its fair or perfect, but if the world were perfect, we would never have had discrimination or slavery to begin with. (I hope my tone doesn't come off as angry because its not my intention, but the lack of awareness is quite frustrating)

Look at it this way, if we are all together we are like a bundle of dry twigs, we can only be broken with difficulty. If we are on our own in dependant from one another we are like a single dry twig easily broken. So we should all stay together and be strong. This is why the EC wants regions and this half baked government tried to comply

I, too, think they have every right to separate themselves from the rest of the country and then i hope they will accept my application for citizenship. sounds terrific. hear, hear! "We" are opposed to the new world order and believe differently. You go your way "we" choose to go our way.
Fanatiscism cuts both way my honorable opponent. If i seem radical to you, you must realize you appear to be the opposite pole to me. Why are you opposed to those who refuse to join your statistical aggregate, which has gained popularity in this era. Live your own life and leave us the duece alone, please.
One parting note sir, you are no saint.
