help i have to get a bloodtest soon but im so scarred of the needle!!!!!!any tips of how to get trough it???

Don't be scared! I am incredibly scared too, but just take a deep breath and look away or close your eyes. Before you know it, it will be over. It's funny that most associate pain w/ needles, when in reality it just feels like a tiny little pinch.
Make sure to drink plenty of water before you go and wear a sweatshirt... this keeps you hydrated and makes it easier for a nurse to find a vein. You will be fine :)

Me too. It would not count how illogical it particularly is, i in basic terms comprehend that the needle is going to slide from my arm and bypass into my eye! So right it incredibly is how I cope with it. I clarify the nurse that i'm terrified of needles and ask am i able to lie down together as the blood is taken. I then held out my arm and became my head any incorrect way. The nurse then talked to me asking quesitons approximately trip trips etc. She had actual comprehensive until now I had realised she had have been given the needle in!!

Speaking from experience...
Don't look at the needle.
Drink some water.
Lay down if possible.
Avoid eye contact.
Think of what you'll be doing an hour from now.
Tell them that you are not good with blood.
A good vampire tech will try to distract you with small talk while the sample is being drawn. Engage them in a conversation, it helps.

I hate needles too. Theres not much you can do other than calm down relax and never look at the needle!

it will be fine! i dont like needles very much either but they really dont hurt that bad, sometimes you cant even feel them. so relax and take a deep breath, i hope everything will be ok! =]

why get scared of needle? getting of blood sample is not painful =) nothing to be scared of, & that is a quick procedure only
