if peeps didnt get offended so easily and got on with their lives the world would be better right? people need to realise if they didnt get offended so easily sooner or later you are impervious to insults

At last someone who thinks the same as me. People spend too much time and effort being offended by the slightest thing. Religion, politics, race, sex, sexuality. I find the people who are most offended are often the most offensive and narrow minded towards any opinion that doesn't agree with their own.
Get a life.

You are right to an extent, but I bet people have made you raise before and will again. It is ony human nature, depends how you class the insult.
If someone calls you a name its one thing, if someone physically pushes you, you should be offended. Were do you draw the line at what offends who and how the offence is met?

Generally, when someone gets offended it is because the person making the comment has touched on something true. Why would a person become offended if the comment was 100% false?

many people were brought up that way to connect their feelings with other people's possible thoughts. why apologize when i am responsible for both thoughts and feelings - it is just a duplicitous tool that being offended thing.

i agree with your statement, however Man is a tempremental creature and thus people will ineveitably get insulted or offended sooner or later

I think some people enjoy being offended just so they can excuse themselves for being thoroughly offencive and nasty to other people who do not share their views.
