You can check your BMI (Body Mass Index). Some consider it a plus size others do not. Being tall it has a lot to do with your body type and the size of your frame.

It's not considered plus. It's actually just above an "average" 12. A size 14 means you have a 34" waist, which is perfectly acceptable. Plus size is size 16 and up. I'm 5'9", large frame, and wear a 12/14 (depending on the cut of the pants) and I'm not considered overweight by any stretch of the imagination.

I'm pretty sure that plus sizes don't start until size 18 no matter what your height is. It is unhealthy to think that a girl who wears a size 14 is overweight and labeling her in the "plus" sizes is a little negative. I would spend less time worrying about your size and more time worrying about your general health; if you feel fat do something good for yourself instead of stressing out over if you are fat in a size 14.

Height doesn't matter, but a 14 is regular size. A 16 is where plus sizes start.

Yes! I'm 5'9 and any where from a size 3 to a size 7 depending on the store. Size 14, in North American sizes, is plus size no matter what the height.

Don't know, did you get the dress in the "plus" section? If not, then it is not a "plus" size. If so, then it is a "plus" size.

How much do you weigh? Height and a size 14 tells us nothing really.
