Michael Moore's movie showed actual and that is "actual" footage..it was not doctored, no pun intended, and it showed America's trusted politicians blatantly lying about healthcare in Canada and other countries..why are they not charged or confronted for lying to the public..why do these people keep getting elected. Please no Michael Moore line, I have heard them all..He should be a heor to the average American.

it is awful when my daughter was born Bruce I was self pay 1500 US down payout the rest 1500 more if you walk in to that hospital with insurance the price is way higher they brought a "GIFT BASKET" with a couple of baby soaps shampoos etc into our post delivery room and when I said we are self pay the girl never losing her smile turned and walked out . It is collusion of the health care system and insurance co.... it is a F######kin disgrace I'm gonna get a job in the ice house and move to the great country of CANADA.... Mike Moore is a hero

Telling the American people that universal heath care does not work is a means of taking it off the table. Universal heath care is costly and certainly does have in impact on the bottom line of the heath care industry (one of the most profitable industries in the country)
I remember a similar time when politicians were telling Americans that drugs from Canada were not safe, even though Canada had more rigid and longer trial guidelines. The majority of the drugs pulled form the market in the USA over the past couple years, did not even make it onto pharmacy shelved in Canada.
Politicians lie to persuade the people. It that simple.

Why don't you do your own research on health care in other countries and see what you find out. A slanted "documentary" by a Lib with an agenda, does little to expose the truth of a subject. When you let a propagandist be your soul sorce of information you are doing yourself a disservice and will remained uninformed about the issue.

Simple, than can, everything has two sides and they choose the side that is advantages to themselves. As to why do we keep re-electing these politicos...well I can't vote in your state legislature and you can't vote in mine so as much as the US dislikes congress for the most part it is representative of the individual state citizens. Not everyone agrees with my believes or yours, I can accept that whereas some others don't.

I have been a Nurse for 17 years, in that time I have worked in multitude of areas, to include medical claim processing ( yeah for Insurance companies). And I know this one thing to be true, we have the greatest Health care system in the world. Be advised not one of them is out there is absolutely perfect, ours comes the closest to being perfect. Michael Moore's movies always come with a leftist agenda. he is always taking shots at the greatest county in the world that has allowed him to become extremely rich. He wouldn't do these movies for free.

I've heard the same from citizens of those other countries. So a lie it is not. You don't want to hear any negative against a known and proven liar and manipulator of information for his own profit and that is your right. I hope you don't mind that I chose not to believe him.

Take a close look at the health care the military gets.
That's what national health care will be like for all of us.
