I would highly advise that you not major in computer science while in college. The IT industry is one of the most outsourced fields out there. Lots of people with computer science degrees and couldn't find work in the computer industry...especially programming due to the corrpution, recruiters, and importing H1-Bs from India. I would advise to stay away from this profession and stay away from majoring in this field of computers. Many of the jobs in this area only last a few weeks at a time instead of several years.
If you are going to major in something, try Business Management or something related to the business dept. I think more doors will open for you if you pursued a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree.
