She was not! I've said this several times and it's getting frustrating. Do you know what type of lawsuits that she could file if that was the reason? She's not filing any lawsuit because she knows that isn't the reason. The real reason will not be revealed by CBS or Leon on her "Myspace" page. And if fat is the reason for a firing why haven't they got rid of B&B's Stephanie's Lane Bryant a**! Doesn't that make you think?

Darlene you're thinking wrong! As I stated before I have an inside connect to CBS sources and that was far from the reason she was fired.

She did have an attitude problem off-set but that wasn't why either.

Yeah I saw that fat chick on GL. Sometimes there should be a limit.

I'm well aware of contracts and how they can be written. I'm in the legal field and have written many contracts myself. There wasn't a clause in her contract about weight from my understanding.

Rag Doll, she does know why. I've given "in so many words" the reason on why on several other answers. The latest was yesterday.

First of all my source is none of your damn business! I can ask any question that I want. If you don't like it then don't answer. Secondly I just don't get why people think she's overweight when she's not. You may be aneroxic and unhealhty but that doesn't mean you should call someone who actually has a nice booty and can fill out jeans with no sag in the back overweight.

Houston Loca you may be right about the speculation. I think CBS likes that everyone thinks she was fired due to weight or attitude issues. This will distract away from the real reason she was fired. Which could affect her future career.

I think her left hand may have something to do with her disease.

I, for one, would love to know the reason. I've always thought she was a very pretty girl ever since they first introduced her over on General Hospital as Brooklynn (Lois and Ned's daughter). She's also a decent actress (I've seen a lot worse that have been kept on shows). It's a mystery why all of a sudden they get rid of one actress and replace her right away with another. Even the soap magazines haven't come up with a reason, and an interview with Ms. Leon didn't reveal anything except, "she don't know why"............ I wonder if the fans will ever find out what's really going on here.

I think it is obvious that she was fired for her weight when her replacement is Lily's size. If it wasn't the weight and it was for her attitude, then they just have easily could have had her replacement be about the same size as her. Adrianne can't file a lawsuit anyways. Whether you want to believe it or not, a show can specify how much an actress or actor can weigh. A person's weight affects their physical appearance and their ability to portray their character correctly. If Adrianne couldn't fulfill her contract for any reason (including weight if that was in the contract), then that person can be fired for not fulfilling their contract requirements. And one actor's contract has nothing whatsoever to do with another actor's contract. Stephanie has always been big. It isn't like she came on to the show and gained 30 pounds in a year. Maybe the show would rather have a plus sized Stephanie. Not all characters are written to be a size 2. Stephanie is a very experienced actress who has a lot of fans who love her the way that she is. Again, Stephanie and her contract have nothing whatsoever to do with Adrianne's contract.
If you know the real reason why she was fired, why do you bother to ask anyone else what they think? Why don't you just tell everyone and list your source of information?

CBS can give whatever reason they want for firing Adrianne. That doesn't mean that's "The ONLY reason" for firing her. Whatever you say -- you can say it until you're blue in the face -- there will always be speculation about why she was fired - It may mean that you are technically right, but that doesn't mean that CBS officials didn't have other reason to go along with their reasoning (they just have to be careful about exposing them due to legal ramifications)

Besides Andrianne would be commiting career suicide by suing a company like CBS for something they have not disclosed outright -- just look at Isiah Washington and ABC (we'll see if he ever gets work)

Not meaning to sound dumb, I have watched Y&R for years and guess I never paid attention to the real name of the actors. Which part did she play? I watch it daily, and how I missed someone changing characters is kind of spooky.

Even though I don't know what part she played, until I get an answer, I think if anyone was going to be fired because of weight, which they really legally would be in a bind if they did, there are a few others mentioned here that would go. But, one of them was hired and she was already that size, and I do think it was intentional for the part she plays. So, please tell me what character was changed in Y & R that I am oblivious to, please...

I grew to like Adrianne in the role of Colleen. however, I feel that the writers did damage to the character. I loved the innocence of her with JT and to throw the professor at her was an insult. I am sure Ms. Leon has her pride and that is why the real reason will not be released unless she wants to grant an interview.
and, as for Susan Flannery and her Lane Bryant a**-she is an excellent actress and if she got fired, the "S" in CBS would stand for Susan. She would own that place..

And why is it any of our business why she was fired? Being fired is a very personal issue. If any of you were fired would you want it broadcast every where?

I know people say actors/actresses belong to the fans/public...but come on...this is her personal life. Let's just give it a rest and let her get on with her life.

You tell um D! Obviously that was not in her contract about her weight because if she hadn't have done what she did she would still be on the show. She wasn't even fat or plump if you look at it realistically. There are more size 8-10 woman than there are 0-1's. What do you think the contract read "You can't be more that a size 0 or we'll kick you off immediately" Give me a break!

PS: I think Stephanie is at least a size 18...lol

I'm with you about the weight. But could it have something to do with her left hand. I have noticed in all the scenes lately that she keeps it hid, or is it this just part of the act.

First of all. I'd like to wish you a happy birthday. as we watch TV more lately, they are using a lot of "plus size" actors on shows...and as Tyra Banks says "SO What". The norm of the real world, not many women are a size 0......have a great day!

People can find ways to discriminate against you for age, health conditions, weight, anything....they only have to find picky legitimate "reasons" to fire you so that you can't get unemployment or sue them for discrimination....It is easy to say it doesn't happen until it happens to you (I had an employer say to me "Why didn't you tell us you had cancer before we hired you?"....then they wrote me up for stuff after that and fired me....I couldn't prove anything...it was just me and her in the office..
