I don't think there should be any limit on one persons ability to get paid... no matter how rich they already are.

There must be some limit to the extent that the endorsement income should not exceed the contract income. I think this can keep Dhoni, Sachin, Dravid, Ganguly, Sehwag and many others in check. In any case cricket should be your number one priority.

The charm and motivation to play is not the fee offered by sports organisations, or the prize money, as it is peanuts compared to what is offered as endorsement money.
Only a successful sportsman gets endorsement offers. It is in his own interest to perform at his best so as to keep getting endorsement offers.

No, there sholud not be cap on endorsements. That does not deflect their perpormance.
