Did you have a vaginal or a surgical abdominal surgery?
You are probably flushing out the meds. from the surgery.
And you will go through stages of feeling rotten until very slowly you will get back to normal. Just be sure to go for your regular checks during recovery.
A full abdominal incision surgery will take several months to fully recover from. I just do not know about the recovery time for vaginal removals.
JUST DO NOT RUSH IT. THINGS CAN POP OPEN IF YOU DO ANY STRENUOUS ACTIVITIES.
Good Luck on your recovery.

The light headed feeling may be from any narcotic pain medication that you're still taking.
The bruising and swelling is normal. For me, the swelling (called swelly belly) got worse on days that I over did it around the house. Take it easy and rest.
Make sure to mention these things to your doctor when you have your follow up appointment. Keeping a journal or jotting down questions will help you remember when you get there.
I had a TAH (total abdominal hysterectomy) last year. I found an awesome support site that I still check back with. Hope you find it as helpful. www.hystersisters.com
Blessings!

Have you been over working your self after having such a big operation surgery you should have almost complete bed rest for the first week then after that do no heavy duty things for 6 weeks and rest as much as possible. I would
go and see your doctor if you really over worried but you should have an after care check up in about 2-3 weeks if you are not over worried then wait til then other wise make an earlier appointment. Also you peeing more than your drinking is your body keeping any infection away from the wound and also i would not worry about the bruising as some people bruise more than others depending on how sensitive your skin is. Hope this as helped.

Has the doctor seen the bruising?
your swelling will not go down yet - will take a good few weeks for that...
you are feeling light headed because you have had a major operation and need to rest. however, have you got high blood pressure? it could be that- you need to carry on taking blood pressure tablets after the op.
all you need to do right now is just rest - don't even try thinking about doing anything. If you do need a confirmation to how your body is feeling right now - it's best to go to the doctor and talk to people who have already ahd the surgery.
There is a site called hystersisters - they are pretty useful...
wish you all the best!

Your body has under gone a very big trauma. The pressure to void more then usual is to be expected as is the bruising and swelling. . Your blood pressure maybe a bit low do to blood lose during the surgery, this would cause the light headedness. Do not hesitate to call your doctor about any of these things. The light headedness needs to be looked into. Again, anything which concerns you, call your doctor. This was a major operation.

It's too soon to give any kind of answer. You should have a 4 week check-up scheduled with your surgeon. I have also had a total hysto a year ago. It just takes time and rest to recover fully. If something is really alarming to you, you should talk with your doc.
