tornado, it was scary but really fun, the sky was sooooooooo cool and the clouds were moving and all different colors, by the time it was over there were trees everywhere, i couldnt even walk down my driveway cause there were little sticks all over and the power lines snapped so we had to be careful, and we couldnt drive to town cause of the powerlines and trees, and the toilets didnt work so we had to pee outside, i still liked it after cause i was little so i played in the trees like a jungle gym

I've been through a few tornadoes. I think the scariest thing was looking outside and seeing that the sky was orange and hearing the tornado siren going off. Then the air gets still and you know it's coming. I've never had one hit my home, though. One time I was working at a restarant when I was still in high school, and we could see the tornado in the distance from the big windows. We all had to hide in the walk-in freezer. I've also been through a tropical storm, we had to drive through one trying to leave Galveston, Texas on a family vacation. I was a young child, though, so all I remember is that we could not see anything, it was like the experience of going through a carwash and all you could see was water hitting the windows, and it felt like the car could have been tipped over at any second. And I just remember my parents being scared to death. Both were kind of scary yet exciting experiences.

Tornado. It was beautiful before it touched down. The weather changed fast. First it was hot and humid, then it got chilly and dark and rained a bit. I've only seen about 5 or 6 of them. The most amazing thing is the sound it makes. It's hard to explain, but it's almost like a deep roar.
It's devastating what it does though. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.

I live in tornado alley. And yes, I have been in small tornadoes. Fortunately, there wasn't much damage done, except for broken and uprooted trees. The storm was really scary. The skies get real black, and the lightning is terrible.

No, but in my dreams, those tornado's and tsunamis seemed so real to me that I understand how horrible it is for the victims...

when i was younger living in Georgia, there was a tornado, not big but big enough for my likings. anyways, it was right next to my trailer but on the other side of the street. it flipped that trailer backwards and sent the car across the field. we were extremely lucky that it stayed on that side fo the street. afterwards, we drove through town and trailors and cars were all over the place in locations that werent their original. it was horrible.

tornado...quite scary.
I was only 6, but that experience will stay with me forever. I get a little tense every time the sky gets dark.

tornadoes and hurricanes, yes. 90+ mph winds, falling trees, flying debris and flooding. It isn't very fun, especially with no electricity for 10 days.
