I have pesky neighbors and want to keep them out of the yard.

there's many of us who would love one... unfortunately, Frank Oz's hallucinations don't exist IRL..... however... planting some nice hedges of roses will deter a lot of meddling about in your yard.... also, some signs stating that you have just applied a noxious yard poison to the grass will help, as well.... *smile*..I'd use the pellets that are slug bait that contain Iron Phosphate.. they're harmless to kids and pets and turn into fertilizer... but they last a good while and will be there if the neighbors look over the fence.............

Try planting Pyrocanthia. It stays green all winter, has nice white flowers on it in the spring and orange berries in the fall. The birds love it. It also has thorns that can penetrate the toughest of outdoor clothing.
