When the honeymoon ends, then reality sinks in: It's not physical atraction what makes a marriage hold together, is companionship, teamwork, communication, compatability, care and compassion.

So here it is: Some people marry for the wrong reasons and beleive that marriage should be based solely in physical atraction. When lofe throw a curve ball to inmatute, selfish , unprepared couples, they don't know how to handle it.

Good luck

Someone (I'm not pointing fingers here) wasn't being honest from the beginning. If there were honesty, do you think they would be enemies now? Love/hate is a very thin line that you don't realize you've crossed until you feel the emotions with the same person. Get rid of the hate, try to understand why the person is. Becoming enemies doesn't happen "for no reason". It has been manifesting. One year isn't too bad, count your blessings. Good luck.

How does it happen? You tell me, because there is definitely a reason. Are you fighting constantly? What are you fighting about? Is it worth ruining your marriage? Are their children involved? Do you love each other?

When two people get married, they better be in love, because they made a commitment to spend the rest of their lives together till death do them part. That was there decision, so it's their responsibility to make it a wonderful marriage. What is that difficult? This is not a job.

All you should do naturally is want to make each other happy. You cannot be selfish in a marriage. If your thinking of yourself, then you should be alone. If any children are watching a bad marriage, that's what you're raising them to think that marriage is and someday they will do the same thing to themselves and to their children.

You know what would make each other happy. You know how to make it a wonderful marriage. Okay sometimes you'll argue and disagree that's normal, but it's not worth ruining a marriage! Get it together.

If you do not really know the person you are giving your soul to it is easy for it all to fall apart.
It can be as simple as "she never puts the top back on the toothpaste" or "he always leaves the toilte seat up" right through to "I never knew that she used to be a man".
It is wrong to say that there is no reason but often there is a reason that at least one of the people involved cannot see as being significant.

It don't happen for no reason. There are many reasons why it happens. My opinion is the number one cause is ; people confuse love with lust. And people are so quick to get married and they don't really know each other. If people would just slow down and remember there vows there would be less hate in marriage.

A lot of people act and behave based on superficial things and temporary feelings, as well as selfishness. I want this, I need to be feeling this, etc, etc. It's all about them and the way they feel. They don't understand the whole concept of marriage and giving yourself to someone else and making sacrifices for the other person.

because most people get married for the wrong reasons, such as, all their friends are getting married and they want to have a wedding, then once all the fun and hoopla is over, they find out they didn't really want to have a marriage.
if getting married were as difficult as getting divorced........well, maybe more would last.

No reason? I doubt it. Something changed or happened, something influenced the relationship. You don't just wake up one day and think "To hel* with this!" Everything happens for a reason.

There's always a reason...you might just have to dig around a little to find out what it is.
