I've been getting this sticky white stuff in my underwhere. I'm 11 1/2, and I just started getting it a week or so ago. ( I know all about periods and stuff so don't talk to me like a little kid) I have pubic hair, and I wear a size b cup. I'm pretty much developed. [never had a period before though]

Does this mean I could get my period in a few months?

*I can only see it on dark undies
* It's clear and liquid at first, then drfies to a white, flaky sort of coating on my undies.

*No itching or smell.

I am 66 and trust me, for your entire life you will be learning about your "Periods and stuff". Since you seem to think you are fully informed, I will share with you what I would tell a more adult female. I will say until you start and are actively involved in menses monthly you have no Idea about how they feel or the challenges they cause.

A heavy white discharge usually comes from a Yeast infection. If you have been on antibiotics any time in the last year or so, this could be the cause. Antibiotics kill of the good and bad bacteria. Medications can frequently cause Yeast Infections. That is what causes mine.

· Take Acidophiles pills daily to help correct the PH balance in your body.

· Eat Low sugar Yogurt daily to assist in balancing the PH. Sugar feeds a bacteria. So it is important to avoid as much sugar as possible to get this cleared up.

I hope my suggestions are helpful.

In Your Particular case you are probably preparing for your periods.

Entirely normal. I remember wondering when my periods would start when I first started getting this. It has some horrid technical name like leukorrhoea or something, but it's basically just mucous made by your vagina to keep it clean. It will change in thickness and consistency throughout the month and yes, it does tend to indicate your period will start soon (I was your age). Usually within a few months.

As long as there's no itching, burning, foul odor, etc., it's probably just your normal vaginal secretions. Depending upon when in your menstrual cycle you are, it can be anywhere from practically non-existant (right before and right after your period), to creamy white (shortly before ovulation) or clear, slippery, and stretchy (when you're ovulating). I don't think this is really any guarantee that you're going to start menstruating soon--it probably just means that you've reached another step/milestone in becoming an adult. :) Enjoy it while you can--periods STINK!!! :o)

It means you are turning into a woman. Its called vaginal discharge and its the natural way of cleaning the vagina. It could be a sign that your period is comming. Good luck!

Don't worry you are probaly just going to get your period. Ask your mom if you can get the pads for when you get your period. But you should probaly still see a doctor if it hurts because it could be a uran infection.
***Good luck***

you are close to getting your periods.the discharge fits in with your cycle, and the consistency changes over the month. women can judge when they are most able to conceive a baby by looking at the mucus, and seeing it wetter than usual.
hope this helps!

It's discharge. Wear a pantyliner so it doesn't get on your underwear.. And yes this is a sign that you will probably get your period soon.
