How much money USA spends on each day on Iraq and now again Afghanistan war?

How much money USA spends on each day on Iraq and that now Afghanistan war(again) too.Since American people facing many unusual problems in their life as a direct result of war what can be done instead of using that money in the war?

We're spending $12 billion a month on this insane 'war'. Last August, American Prospect magazine calculated that we'd already spent $1.27 TRILLION on this immoral and unconstitutional 'war - that's ONE MILLION DOLLARS A DAY for 3,487 years!!
Imagine if all that money had been spent on helping those in this country who are sick; disabled; underprivileged; old; disadvantaged; unemployed; hungry; poor; undereducated or homeless???
I would much rather see money spent on social welfare programs than on corporate welfare programs and war profiteering. -RKO- 07/10/07
