Probably you will say of course not.
But when i think about it...we do become more talkative, outgoing and braver when drunk. Are we breaking some of the walls in our mind when we're drunk?

I think everyone who enjoys a drink would like to think that we become our "better" selves when we're drunk, but I don't think that's true. Some people become violent, others cry, and some become outgoing and brave. It all depends on your personality. I think most people have times that they do things that embarrass them while drunk. I used to drink daily until I almost lost all of my friends and family over it. I haven't drank now in almost 10 years and my life is better without alcohol in it.

you're right, of course not is the answer. most people becomes more talkative, outgoing and braver when drunk because they're not anymore conscious of what they are doing. no guilt, no fear of ridicule or dying, no embarassment. in the absence of these, there is some kind of freedom to do whatever the person likes to do because there is loss of mental and physical control.

I find it much easier to play piano with a glass of wine. My fingers and shoulders loosen up, and I am able to let my eyes sail over the pages of music without skipping a note. I wouldn't call that more conscience, just in the zone.

We may be breaking walls down, but we're depleting brain cells, but yeah, before we collapse in a heap and start mumbling, I guess there is a point of lucidity and openness. It's the extent of drunkenness.

alcohol is a depressant, it weakens, and sometimes eliminates the boundaries in our heads that we have set up 4 ourselves, me for example, when im really drunk, im really happy, but my temper is incredible short, and then im happy again, my brother is pathetic, always throws up, my best friend, paranoid as hell, because thats what they are really like, subconciously, if after only a few drinks, then yes, i would have to say we are, as a species, more aware of others better qualities, therefore more concious, when we are tipsy

When you drink you suppress higher brain functions and become much more animalistic and instinctual. So basically, the animal part of your brain becomes more conscience and has more control over what you do.

Someone once said some very wise words to me, and I have never forgotten them. They have proved true several times.

"Drunken words convey sober thoughts..."
