Ginny didn't spread any rumor. One of the other girls in school asked Ginny if it was true that Harry had a dragon tattooed on his chest. (Which of course he doesn't.) This is in Half-Blood Prince.

Yeah, it was in Half-Blood Prince. She also said Ron had a tatoo of a Pygmy Puff but she didn't say where lol.
