The First Real Band I Ever Listened To Was The Ramones. I Was Absoloutly Blown Away When I First Heard "Blitzkrieg Bop" At The Age Of 9, And Developed A Real Interest In Classic Punk. When I Was 10 And My Friends Were Listening To Boyzone And The Spice Girls, I Was Listening To The Clash, The Sex Pistols And The Dead Kennedys. My Love Of Music Became More Diverse When I Watched A Documentary About Led Zeppelin When I Was 13. I Was Mesmerized By Robert Plant's Stage Prescence And Jimmy Page's Guitar Playing And There Began My Obsession With Hard Rock. Now I Listen To Almost Every Genre Of Music, But I Don't Think I'd Ever Have Developed An Interest In Real Music Had It Not Been For The Impression The Ramones Made On Me.

Alice in Chains and Metallica. I grew up around the "grunge" era and this was about the time in my life that I started needing music. These 2 bands also opened the door to other music for me. They changed my life for the better.

The Libertines. I got chills the first time I heard "can't stand me now". Sadly, it was around the time they broke up but then I got to go and rummage through their back catalog! They could have been the best band in the world. ^_^

xx

im still growing up(im 14) mentally and physically(more mentally cuz im dumb) but ac/dc was like that when i 1st listened to dirty deeds done dirt cheap...i was pretending to not like rock and only like country but them and led zeppelin(immagrant song) and GN'R(don't cry) sortta blew me outta that...when i was little the only music i ever heard was country(mostly garth brooks) which explains why i just started gitting in to music a couple years ago.
