I don't want to harm him. I'm sure I'll get a lot of ugly answers to this question, so just to let you know, if you talk about killing him I'm going to give you a big old thumbs down. Right now, he's behind a shelf and i've set up a trail of mozzerrella crumbs leading him back to my open door, outside of which there is a larger piece of cheese.... I am not even certain if mice like mozzerrella.... Ideas, please???

Ok, I tried to chase him out from behind the shelf which was probably dumb because of course he got scared and instead of finding his way out the door, he wound up under my stove in the kitchen.

get a have-a-heart trap. they sell them at most drugstores, and they just catch the mouse, not kill it. what you do is you put a piece of cheese in there, and the mouse will go in to get it, but when the mouse goes in, the door on the trap closes so it can't go out. put the trap down on the floor somewhere in the room he seems to be frequently staying in (i'm guessing it's your kitchen since mice love food) and check it regularly. you should catch him in no time, and, when you do, all you have to do then is take the have-a-heart trap out into a field somewhere and set him free.

good luck and hope this helped!

Take a lesson from the Pied Piper and get yourself a flute . Start playing the flute in the kitchen . The mouse will come out of hiding , because they can`t resist the sound of a flute ........... much like lemmings .

When the mouse appears , slowly walk towards the door while still playing the flute . The mouse will follow you . Open the door and walk outside . The mouse will follow you outside .

Stop playing the flute and quickly run into the house . Slam the door shut .

Problem solved !

Awww, me too. They're awful cute. Try the Hav A Heart trap. I've never used those, but if you need to bait it, use peanut butter or peanuts. Mice LOVE peanut butter!
