Why? What is it that makes you feel like a tourist where you live?

I live in a tourist town. When the tourists come in every year, no one is safe from feeling LIKE a tourist as everything changes. The traffic is terrible so no streets are open for us to drive the way we usually do. The streets are full of people that tramp all over town, looking in awe at houses they would not even glance at in their own towns.

No, I feel more like a tour guide! Lots of things to see and do in Texas and friends and family always want to know where to go and what they should do here. But, that's okay cause I'm a very proud Texan.

Yes. I live in a town where there are lots of retirees and they tend to make you feel like you don't belong in your own birthplace because many of them think they are superior to the natives.
