No way - cut people like that out of your life. They only drag you down. Life's too short!!

A lot depends on the intent.
My friends are all rude to each other - what are friends for if you are so uptight that you can't be honest with each other without someone taking offence?
There's a big difference between being rude and being bitchy.
A true friendship is too strong to be broken by petty stuff like squabbles and minor insults of the 'yes, your bum does look big in that' or 'well that was a stupid thing to do' sort.
Friends should always have your best interests at heart, and if that means being rude then so be it. But remember, you have to earn the right to insult someone, you can't just meet someone and start getting gobby before the closeness and understanding has had time to grow.

I would never be friends with people that were rude and disrespectful to me! I would tell them what I thought of them . These types of people are not your friends, just evil.
True friends are people who help and support you and are always there when you need them. hanging out with them and having a good laugh and joke!

Well yes, as I found out too late just how bad they really are. They're not true friends, more like uni mates, but we still talk to each other when we're at uni. I don't know why I still keep in contact- I guess I just don't want to be a loner at uni because its so hard making friends due to the small number at our campus.
One time, I told Alex (not real name) that I liked rock and classical-type music. Now, I know very few people like, let alone appreciate, classical music. But she immediately showed a disliked towards those kinds of music as she herself preferred hip hop, rap and the like, and made out that classical and rock music were for "pu$$ies". Obviously, I found this extremely rude. I could've said the same thing about her music preference as I can't stand hip hop and rap, but I decided to keep my mouth shut out of politeness.
Also, we're on different wavelengths as she's never had to work very hard in her life til now when she's in her 20s so thinks she "understands" what I've been going through, whereas I have, and we both have different perceptions on what we believe are top priorities- me wanting to move closer to uni because I live so far away and transport costs too much; her wanting to move out because her mom doesn't let her out every night to be with her bf or whatever (even though she lives even furtherer from uni than I do, so you'd think she'd put that as a higher priority). This is why I no longer want to move into a flat with her like I used to, because she doesn't have her priorities right.
So yes, I'd say I have "friends" who are very rude and disrespectful. Thanks for letting me vent it out too lol

Yes , even tough she spanks me , shouts at me .I consider her as a friend because I understand her that's the way she mingles. when you get too close with her , her true color will be revealed. sometimes my friends spread rumors about me but I forgave them. I live having that kind of friend even tough they are like that to me.

She bullied me for a fair few years then it all got too much when i met my boyf, she was jealous and scheming, trying to make me think he was wrong for me, i finally had enough and now shes turned a few of our friends against me!
