I have many favourite bands also, ranging from Classical to Metal. However my all time favourite, although they have now split is Matchbox 20. This is mainly because at a one when I was going through some really tough stuff in my life, they came out with Unwell which was like speaking from my heart. That song is still pretty my identity.
Currently, Chad Kroeger's voice seems to always bring tears to my eyes or a heaviness in my heart. Nickelback is one of my preferences as well. 'Never again' was a emotional song that tied me to listening to them.
