It's pretty popular in the US. Not at the same level as elsewhere, but it's one of the scifi channels best rating shows and I know quite a few people, including myself, who absolutely love the show.

I love it! I don't think it's as popular here in the US as it is in Europe, but it plays on a couple of different channels here. They've just started showing Season 3 and Torchwood is supposed to start in the fall. Thank god for the internet - I was able to download both shows already.

Yes it is popular to me! I love the show, and its spin-off series Torchwood,,which strangely enough is an anagram of Doctor Who!
I find that have become addicted to several good British shows! 'Wire in the blood'. is a good one, and "Murder City is another!
I also like 'Afterlife! That one was excellent! Let's hear it for U.K. tv shows!

I am in the US and I LOVE Dr Who! I have a feeling that it is more popular in the UK, but it's hard to say. I have a personalized "TARDIS" license plate on my car, I have yet to meet anyone who knows what that is. I get asked all the time what TARDIS means.

No way, it's popular on both continents, probably in the whole galaxy u know those timelords. If it was up to me this show would be on forever.
