the rapist was caught and raped by the husband of the housewife whom the rapist try to rape after he break in their home. can he sue the husband

First the Husband is a rapist too, the rapist is in reality a "would-be-rapist" since he didn't have the chance to rape the wife.

So the Husband and the "would-be-rapist" they both go to jail; one for rape, the other for breaking & entering and rape attepmt (he can also sue the husband since once a criminal is in custody is ilegal to use any kind of physical abuse or torture).

The husband will also get divorced since most women don't like to have sex with gay men like the husband of your story.

Yes he can, but I am sure the court and the jury will find many reasons not to condemn him, at least not seriously.
