For me, i'm just curious why cool is always related to their appearance. For me beside a good looking, the person must have the ability to speak and act right in every situation. That's my opinion for a cool person is.

i tend to use 'cool' as a synonym for 'is agreeable with me'. you say things like "that's cool with me", right?
generally i describe people as cool when they're funny, friendly, witty & articulate. just good fun to hang out with.
it's different to when i say someone 'looks cool' or is wearing 'a cool outfit'. so i do distinguish between people & their appearances when i use the word.

This is a very complex question, and therefore has an even more complex answer. If you wanted the answer yourself, then you have it right there, when you said it. To me, a cool person is someone who, regardless of looks and abilities, is someone that acts like their true self. There is nothing cooler, in my opinion, than that.

Someone who is fun, a bit impulsive and crazy, good to talk to and great to hang out with. I don't relate it that much to physical appearance, I suppose they would be nice looking but not necessarily model material.

A cool person is someone that can be respected and seen as someone who makes a difference. A cool person knows he/she isn't cool because he is wise and modest.

cool person for me is a very cultured person first of all and very open minded. then very good looking and kind of mysterious:)
