Easy, you take them to a shop where they do ink jet cartridge recycling. you will find that most of these shops actually recycle laser toner cartridges as well as photocopy toners. I don't know where you live but I live in Aberystwyth and am soon to open such a shop (SMART CARTRIDGE) where you will be able to do this, if you are not in Aberystwyth you can find Smart Cartridge or Cartridge World shops in many UK towns and in Europe and Australia, America ETC, hope this helps.

Many inks contain heavy metals which would be carsonagenic.
so short term illness due to ingesting undigestible material
long term cancer (only really a concern if it is done repetitively)

is it a dirty toner cartridge?? if so you would get sick and possibly die why would you think of such a thing
