My friend collects model trains (HO scale apparantly). He is after a model of the German 'ICE' train and a modern red and white Intercity train. Does this mean anything to anybody and do you know the best manufacturers, cost, etc.? Sorry, I would ask my friend but I want to surprise him. Any help gratefully appreciated.....

If he's not only collecting them, but also wants them to run on a model railroad course, you need to know the exact manufacturer, bc. I don't think a Maerklin train will run on a Fleischmann course.
