I want to be able to have the entire screen visable with nothing else showing

Drag the toolbar backpedal. in case you come across you won't be able to flow it, attempt good-clicking on the toolbar and make effective "Lock the Taskbar" does not have a checkmark by making use of it - if it does, meaning you have locked it in place and do not need the skill to go it till you un-verify that option.

yes. click and drag the start menu bar down until it is gone. You should see nothing but a very thin line at the bottom of your screen.

Right click the taskbar and choose properties
Uncheck "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" click apply and OK
