The mind usually wanders in two directions, the past or the future. So most of the time we do not really think ... we either remember the past and recreate those scenes and wishing that it should have been otherwise or sometimes taking the past situation, we try to find solutions of the same scene if it would happen again in the future. And for those who do not have much of a past, create scenes they want to happen in the future. the mind is too active to do such mundane jobs as to think... if you really think .. it is the present ...thinking over a subject you would like to present in your office or family or among friends ... thinking it all through so that we can really present our well thought of project. .... but alas, we hardly think...

Confidence is the feeling you have before you understand a situation!
Be happy!.....

Yes, when i do.. i realize every detail, a mark, a dash, a click or even specks of dust. When i finally stop to think i realize how everyone around does not, a weird world. Oh yea when i finally stop to think about what im thinking. I realize im thinking on what i am looking at.

Usually I only stop to rest and calm(let thoughts settle)
rather than as a critical thought process. In my opinion,
stopping to think leads to thinking in circles which usually
requires rest to remove the thinker's block anyway.
Therefore, I stop to not think about what I was thinking.
That said, I try not to stop unless I find myself thinking
in circles.

I always sit there thinking, and then stop and trace my thoughts back to see how I got to where I was. I know it sounds kinda weird but isn't it amazing how the brain can take us on so many different little journeys and paths?

My mind never stops, but I do tend to analyze what I am thinking....pick it apart and go in a million different directions.

Yes, I often think about what I'm thinking about...and sometimes berate myself for thinking about what I've thought about.
Nevertheless, I just go on thinking.

You ask alot of questions, don't you Alex? XD
I think on and on, and then a few minutes later I reel back and go 'Err.. why did I think that?'
Actually, I can't remember what I think about, normally. XDD

yes.
ive made pretty bad decisions in my life, but im glad i was the one who made it.
before i do something, i still pause, just to weigh consequences, but often i just go right at it. there's also fun in being impulsive and thinking about what im thinking only later.
