The question isn't meant to make a point or anything, but perhaps to ask if you would want control over your own death.

If you're religious, would you opt to be murdered just because your religion says you'll go to hell?

I'd rather be murdered. It's not a religious thing at all. I don't really know why, it would be cooler I guess. It would depend on the method of which I'd be murdered. I always wanted to die a slow painful death, so if I could convince the murderer to do that then I'd totally pick that. If not, I'd rather commit suicide so I'd be sure to die slowly.

Refusing to make the choice would be my first response as well, so I'd need a little more context to give a definitive answer.

But if one choice were forced upon me, I could see certain conditions where I might choose murder.

After all, one can atone for murder. For suicide, I doubt it.

I'm not putting religion here and I would choose to be murdered because suicide means giving up and giving up is the other word for true failure.

Er. Well, to choose is sort of suicide itself.
I wouldn't really want to be murdered, because that would be terrifying. But suicide would be filled with regret.

I'd choose to be ...
KILLED BY A BROKEN HEART. XD *shot* That's both things!

I'm athiest, by the way. xD

I would refuse to choose.

Then, whomever was forcing me to choose would have me murdered, and I'd be martyred. I would hope it ensures a townhouse in heaven with an exceptional view and a washer and dryer IN the unit.

I can't decide because it's impossible for me, I'll let for God, and I know I'll never be able to kill my self (suicide) we can't control our death, you die the way lived; if you did good you'll have a nice and quick death and vice versa

Morbid thought. If I had to choose, I'd take suicide. My God would understand, it must have been his plan if I were in such a predicament. My number must have been up!

What kind of crazy choice is that? I would refuse to choose, because to make the decision is suicide in itself.
