As soon as they cut the umbilical,remember,spare the rod,ruin the child.Seriously,you should not do any of that,just a stern talking to ,then off to bed and no tea or dinner.As for what age,it depends on when the child understanding right and wrong and even then,i would take it easy,before u lose your temper,take a deep breath.
