Without a doubt
and to your two first responders
you haven't got a clue of what you speak !!
You are the duped, and brainwashed ---
those that have listened to the drip drip drip of Washington dribble for so long that the sound of true Founding Father values no longer equate to sense for you !!
The Paul stand on defending our country instead of policing the world !!!
The Paul stand for the equalization of financial burdens -- where the wealthiest actually pay their fair share !!
The Paul stand on the elimination of Federal oversight into absolutely everything that the states do !!
ect ect ect !!

I strongly support Ron Paul
What is so "half-baked" about supporting the rights of individuals over the government and the rights of the States over the Federal government, as the Consititution intended?
So what if Truthers support Paul? There are oddball groups that support every candidate. That is no way to judge a candidate for office.
Ron Paul is not an isolationist. He is a non-interventionist. Keep the military at home and don't interfere in the internal politics of other sovereign nations. Trade opens all doors. Take Vietnam as an example. The US has done with trade treaties what 60,000 troops with guns couldn't do. Liberalized the society and loosened the grip of the communists.
The country is already functionally bankrupt with over $50 Trillion of unfunded liabilities. Eliminating the IRS and the Federal Reserve would go a long way toward resolving the problem. It would force the Federal government to live within its means and stop stealing from people via the income tax and inflation.
Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and a number of other candidates were polling at less than 2% in the "official" polls at this stage of the game. They went on to be elected President.
He's the only Republican candidate who can beat Hillary or Barack in the general election as his message resonates well with just about everyone, not just Republicans.
Guiliani will lose because he is a fascist (look up the definition of fascism if you don't believe me) and he is, frankly, a one trick pony.

I like him because he is right and actually tells the truth. His ideas are based on those of our founders and the Constitution. However, his view on executive power is extremely flawed, inasmuch as he is not an attorney. Whoever told him Congress has to declare war to go into combat was incorrect. Congress can declare war. This word was purposefully chosen. Originally it was make war, however, the founders changed make with declare. Declare at that time meant to perfect war for international law purposes.
His domestic policies are great. He can't win, unfortunately and puts ideological considerations over pragmatics. With that being said, I would love to see him as a VP Candidate or Speaker of the House (when GOP retakes). Also, if Fred Thompson doesn't run I might vote for him in primary for fun, I think people need to get more to the ideals he professes.

Nope.
He is backed by "truthers" and if the truther movement is making him a hero then I know no rational, logical, intelligent person can support him.
His ideas are half baked (along with many of his supporters).
Isolationism does not work.
Eliminating the IRS would bankrupt the country (not that i like paying taxes mind you).
And he has the love and support o Internet trolls and "Truthers".
Sorry, but if I want to waste a vote putting a nut in to office, I would vote for Planter's "Mr. Peanut" before i ever backed Ron Paul.
ADD ON: Larry unlike you, who seems to have memorized the Ron Paul follower quotes, I actually do understand what Ron Paul is all about and who his followers really are.
Fortunately for everyone there are a lot more reasonable and intelligent people out there who either realize or will soon realize Ron Paul and his "truther" followers are not worth backing.

With the GOP neo-cons moving us toward a police state and expanding overseas aggression, its great that someone is standing up for peace and freedom. President Ron Paul is just what we need!

He is just using his Internet toads to boost his poll numbers so that when the election is over he can charge extra for his speaking fees billing himself as a former Presidential Candidate
