lol wireless internet plans are stupidly named. All you need is an internet connection and a wireless router. And of course computers which can connect to the wireless router (via a wireless card).

The only time you need a wireless plan is when you are using a wireless modem from a cellular company. These work in the same way as a cell phone. You are connected to the internet through cellular towers, no home connection needed. The wireless modem and the cellular wireless modem are different and can not be used in exchange for one another.
