No, all they need is a two step program to find a meaningful purpose in life:

1. Take a hammer like this one - http://www.sxc.hu/pic/m/f/fa/fabiosvr/656244_plastic_hammer_toy_1.jpg

2. Hit their own heads with it, and go "Ping Pong, I am a little Dong".

This is a lifetime program, and should be carried out repeatedly without any interruptions.

What youve got to be aareful of is the word "homophobia". Its thrown around too much in todays society. Firstly the term doesn't even have a valid meaning, most "homophobes" don't have an "irrational fear" or a phobia of homosexuality, they simply disagree with it.

I believe in freedom of speech and not forcing society to be politically correct, which is what most gays want. If a person wants to have a rational disageement with homosexuality, thats there choice, they shouldn't be victimised becasue of this.

"Okay, I will say it!"

"Destiny, Destiny, there's no escaping that for me...."

Now to the question....homophobes need books. And television, and more walmart exposure...because, hello!, we are everywhere....we cannot be silenced. We are the Fearless Ones.

We're homosexual, and more of us are out of the closet everyday, so homophobes wake up and drop the fear!

Genocide, execution, legislation, hospitalisation...none of this has made us go away; this they should please try to understand. Day by day , fewer people, fewer societies, and fewer faiths find they can speak against us. Because, we undermine, infiltrate, and inform. We are as much a people as you. We are family. We are neighbors. We are varied and hard to find. Hard to hit and hard to strike. We strike back. We need not do anything, at all, because those we love will fight for us, will shelter and keep us, and defend our rights. Homophobic people need to try a new look at themselves and their beliefs. Knowledge is power.

Good Luck and Goddess Bless

Yes; what a wonderful idea. If homophobics were to get to know GLBTs, they would be ashamed they were afraid. Great question.

There's no such thing as "Homophobia", as no one has an irrational fear of gays as defined by a phobia.

I find it strange that gays have to resort to name calling and intimidation to win acceptance.

I doubt there are many that "hate" gays, rather they know that the choice of a gay lifestyle is a dead end, with most gays feeling unhappy, unfulfilled, depressed, and suicidal.

And because they disagree with you, you have to resort to name calling and equating their disagreement with you as a disease. Wow!

Yes, and I think it might help them to live a year with those they hate so they get to know them as real people and not just the imaginary scary people they think they are.

Yes, but sadly like being gay, you can't cure these people of their ailments...such as SBS (small brain syndrome) ADDS (Auto-decency deficiency syndrome)...
