i taked off the old hard drive, put in the new one in. What do i do in bios? thank you

You do absolutely nothing with BIOS.

You need to insert windows installation CD into the ROM and follow instruction.

Just load fail safe default in BIOS, save and exit. Then install the operating system. Afterwards, install the motherboard chipset drivers then the drivers od devices that are plugged in the PCI slots and USB ports. Only then should you start loading your softwares and your files. Worked for me flawlessly on my laptops and desktops.

It may depend on what kind of harddrive u replaced. IDE, SATA, SCSI??

Most of the time, its auto these days.. U should go into BIOS to make sure the drive is detected properly. Select LBA and auto configure.
