Just heard a quote from her on the radio a minute ago. In her new fly-on-the-wall documentary aired shortly in the USA, she apparantly describes herself as "just a normal working mum".

Now, does anyone really believe that after a hard day at work, that she comes home, has to get tea for the kids, get them bathed and ready for bed along with getting her and Davids dinner ready, get a few loads of washing through the machine, do all the ironing, clean the house and hoover, clean all the bathrooms, wash the kitchen floor. In the morning, do you think she does more washing and cleaning, along with getting the kids ready for school. Do you think she manages to squeeze a weekly shop in with that lot. lol

Thats what normal working mums do. Infact, thats what all mums have to do whether they work or not.

I can't quite see it myself...................

Edit - bex... so true

dolly k - poor you, sorry you had such a bad day yesterday. You made me lol though. I had a bad day too, everything that could have gone wrong at work did, then finally collected kids and got home and trod in dog po o on the pavement getting all the stuff out of the car. Bet VB hasn't trodden in dogs po o for years.

Beauty Spot - Yawn.

Sivorny - I never implied she was a bad mother. I just don't think she is a "normal" working Mum. No one is normal, but in this context I apply normal to be "the masses" or "most women". Personally, when I see her in her documentary doing a good few household chores everyday, then she'll go down as normal in my book.

oh yes, id say she does the same things most mums do , now lets see, yesterday dragged the three kids around town to get the car taxed, it was pissi.g rain, i forgot the buggy so my three year old took every oppertunity to try escape, got car taxed, they wanted a mcdonalds , so had not got enough money left for taxi, had to carry 3 year old home cause her legs were tired,,,, in the blood'y rain. forgot to bring in washing so my sons football kit was soaked, he only has one, so he had to miss training and reminded me ot this all evening, till i wanted to jump on his head just so i wouldnt have to listen to him repeating like a parrot... so put them all to bed early. sat down ,had a nice cuppa,,,,,,....... and waited for david beckham to come home....lol

I very much doubt that is remotely like any routine Victoria Beckham has.

I think it is hilarious the way she has spent so much time and worked so hard to put her self on a pedestal as if she is royalty of some kind, making sure she is seen with all the write people and being involved in everything going (at least everything public). But after working so hard at trying to be someone special or important, she now wants us to think she is just some ordinary working mum. I think a lot of these people are deluded and have no real grasp of reality or how hard life is for most people. They think the occasional Charity event of visit to an orphanage puts them in touch with the world but in reality, I think it just goes straight over their heads. I actually think the Queen and Sherry Blair are far more in touch with real people and real life than Victoria Beckham, in fact I am sure of it, and look at the positions they are or have been in and the pressures they have had to face.

Victoria is just a product of this generation and in particular the media. She was just one step on the stair case to this terrible self important, talentless celebrity, footballers wife, Big Brother, get rich and famous and F~#k morality culture we now have in England and don't even get me started on the whole size Zero thing...

There is no way VB can be construed as "normal" in any sense. If she's a "normal" working mum, I'm the Virgin Mary. I've got to admit, I don't really like Mrs B. Every time I see her I feel the hairs standing up on the back of my neck and when she does that "pout" I want to smack her one (or two) in the gub! Another thing that bothers me is the fashion icon thing. If she wants to be any kind of icon, she should get some weight on - I've seen more fat on a butcher's pencil! My final bugbear is (I've missed a few out - I could be here all day! ) the way she always denies having a boob job done. NO-ONE HAS BOOBS THAT SHAPE NATURALLY - they look like bloody pudding bowls. Why lie?

No, of course VB is not a Normal Working mum, I don't know why celebs say these kind of things, I'm sure they think it endears them to the ordinary working public. Victoria is many ways is ABnormal, including her diet and her body shape, although she claims to be naturally thin, just look at her in her Spice Girls days, much more attractive and healthier looking.

you are so spot on ,normal how can she be, working hardly, a mum yeah but there is no way she can compare herself with other people who do a full days work and come home and start again like myself who cooks cleans and all the rest of the jobs you have to do as a parent , somehow i can't see her pegging the washing out or cooking a roast dinner on a sunday for the family , the woman need a reality check and soon

That is what sickens me about people like her. I work night shift, and insist my wife does not work.

This may seem Harsh to some, but I have income to cope with this. However, I want my kids to see their mum not a nanny or babysitter, and she agrees to this.

With this in mind my wife is the most wonderful woman in the world for me she cleans, cooks, looks after the kids (I know some would say I have a personal slave), but she enjoys it.

I give her all my money to use as she feels fit, but she does not spend it madly, in fact she bought a few properties in my kids name.

But to me this woman Mrs Beckham does not know the realities of life that she left behind, and the reality of real motherhood is.

I must add when I was not earning as much as I do my wife still did what she does now.

Mrs Beckham is a fake, she just wants her name in the paper, and at the cost of loosing all she had she let Rebbecca have a little taste of Becks and did not complain.

If that was my wife she would have left me whatever I gave her.

VB is not a 'normal' working Mum, no way, not ever, she has the support from her wealthy and famous husband DB. So, no 'normal' does not enter the equation with their family. But there are so many celebs in the world, it's just another statistic.

So to all you mums out there, a big shout - keep up the good work......(As I am not a mum myself, I feel that you all do such a wonderful job).........

NO! LOL

She had a knicker tweaker last week didnt she? When she arrived at a function in that hideous outfit, it needed pulling down and a woman did it for her, as she stood outside the venue.

She gets alot of help from her family, oh and dont forget, David only wears his Calvin Klein undies once then throws them away. So that cuts down on some washing.
