first block the wheels of the car to keep it from rolling, loosen the lug nuts on the wheel you will be changing, jack up the car until the wheel is off the ground then finish removing the lug nuts. Now remove the tire, replace with spare then reverse this procedure. If you are unsure about these instructions have someone with experience demonstate it for you. Good Luck !

The hardest part is usually finding the jack under the floor of the trunk (under all the junk back there) and then finding where to put it to raise the car. This is one place where the car manual helps, because some jacks go in holes in the side of the car, some hook into holes in the bumper of the car and some go under the car at lifting points.
Once the jack is positioned nearest the tire to change, you jack it part way up to make sure it works and use the lug wrench with the jack (perhaps on the end of the handle that works the jack) to take off the hub cap if you have one and loosen the lug nuts. You may have to jump or stomp on the wrench, which is why the tire should not be completely off the ground. Ideally the other wheels should be chocked to keep the car from rolling. Raise the tire clear of the ground when all the nuts are loose. Take off the nuts and put them in the hubcap or some other safe place (like the trunk) Remove the tire and wheel. Put the spare tire on the studs and put one nut to hold it. You may have to raise the car more to get the tire in place. Put the other nuts on and snug them all down. You may have to lower the car to keep the tire from spinning. Before you put full weight on the tire, go around and tighten every other (1,3,5,2,4) nut half a turn at a time to avoid warping the drum until none will turn. Lower the car, pick up the jack, wrench, flat tire, hubcap, and everything else and put in trunk. Clean hands on rag kept in trunk. Reload trunk if necessary.
Practice this at home before you have to do it on the road.

If you mean changing a wheel, then find the car jack, place it under the nearest jacking point to the wheel in question.
Get a wrench for removing the wheel nuts (Trim off first with a screw driver if applicable).
Loosen the wheel nuts prior to jacking the car up as once the wheel can turn it would be difficult.
When jacked up off the ground remove the wheel and take it to be fixed.
Reverse the order for re-fitting.
REMEMBER THIS EACH OF THE WHEEL NUTS HAS A BEVELED EDGE TO IT THIS EDGE GOES TOWARD THE WHEEL.
IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS THE WHEEL COULD FALL OF AS THE NUTS LOOSEN.
If you wish to change the Tyre yourself, this can be difficult as you usually need a special device.
You have to break the seal between the tyre and the rim of the wheel, sometimes standing on it will suffice.
The use tyre levers (long flat steel bars) to remove the tyre from the rim.
Fix the puncture area or tube if applicable.
Put the tyre back on the rim using the tyre levers, a small amount of washing up liquid often assists in this if squirted around the rim and tyre.
Best left to a skilled repair person as the only thing between you and the road are your tyres and a blow out can be a matter of life or death.
Good Luck

first thing to do is to check your owners manual.
The jack you get with the car, probably has a very specific place it needs to be put to avoid damaging the car when lifting.
Before lifting, make sure to brace the opposite corner wheel in both directions before lifting.
It is usually easier to 'break' the lug nuts free before lifting. Don't take them off, just loosen them a little so you don't have to put as much pressure on it when it is in the air. If you are having trouble getting them loose, you can balance yourself against the car and carefully stand on the wrench to break the lug nuts loose.
Unless you had an ancient chrysler, all modern cars are right hand thread, so the old 'righty tighty, lefty loosy' will help you remember which way to turn if you forget.
One more thing, I learned the hardway, always get your spare out before you jack the car in the air. Really a bugger to pull it out of the trunk when the thing is in the air.
Once you have the nuts loosened, and the spare ready, jack the car up in the air enough to get the tire off the ground.
MAKE SURE TO NEVER PUT YOUR BODY under the car when it is in the air with only a jack supporting it.
finish removing the lug nuts, take the old wheel off, then place the new one on. if the old one was flat you may have to jack more to get the new one on. put the wheel on, get the lug nuts started, get the nuts snugged with your wrench being careful to not disturb the car too much while tightening.
Lower the car carefully back to the ground and finish tighening your lug nuts using a star pattern (should be in owners manual).
If you have never done the before, try practicing in front of your house one time with good light, as it will help you in the middle of the night, in a driving rain storn to not be doing it for the first time.
An alternate, join AAA and call them instead :-)

first slacken the wheel nuts but dont take them off, jack up the car safely and lower onto axle stands. take the wheel nuts off and remove the wheel. put the new wheel on and put the wheel nuts on, jack the car back up and remove the axle stands, lower the car to the ground and remove the jack. make sure u tighten the wheelnuts before you drive the car or the wheel could come loose and cause a bad accident. go to a garage have the wheelnuts checked with a torque bar after 100 miles.

Oh come on Beebs this is easy!
1. You go and hide in the bushes near the car or around the corner if you're in the city (maybe head over to the pub?).
2. Get you girlfriend to smile and wave at oncoming traffic until some concerned, well intentioning man stops.
3. Let him fix it for you
4. Then, finish your pint, return to your car and girlfriend and drive off.
See, there's nothing to it. hehehehehehheeh
