Simple gestures are the best ones really. They come from the heart.

A simple gesture comes not often enough, in fact these days almost everything has strings attached to it.

So Simple kind gestures mean the world to me and is usually rewarded ten fold.

Just the fact that someone took the time to think of me or include me is so much appreciated.

Example: When I get invited to a party I am the last one to leave because I stay and clean the inside and outside of the house to make sure it is just as good or better then when the party started. I often wish I wasn't the only one who would stay and clean but the fact remains that 90% of the guests will leave a mess behind and just don't seem to care.

Yes absolutely.
Sometimes you get those times when just something as simple as a smile or another kind gesture at a specific moment could make such a vast difference to your mood or day or year or life even. These gestures at such a time are a touching heart-felt reminder of God's love and compassion acting in sublime ways.

Yes seriously: sometimes a gesture may stay with you for life and have such a profound impact that this surely reaps bountiful rewards for both the giver and receiver. Afterall, you may pray for such a person after they have departed or vice versa and thus you can see how even small gestures can reap wonderful benefits.

“Even a smile is charity.” (Prophet Muhammad: peace be upon him).

Thanks for asking :)

Yes it has happened to me many times and I have returned it. It can be a small or large gesture, but it can make your day. I've even had it happen here at Y!A. A very nice person I met on here(haven't met face to face yet) is helping me by translating English terms to Arabic so I will be able to communicate a little with my future mother-in-law. I'm sure she is doing this because she is a nice person and never really gave it a second thought, but I'm also sure she doesn't even realize how much it means to me that she is helping me. This is the reason I try to be a good person as well, because you never know how much the simplest little thing can mean to someone else.

The most simple gesture can mean so much. Even if it is just a Thank you..... it matters so much. On the other hand when you say something negative to someone that is remembered as well and is usually remembered more than the positive things you've done. Just something to think about.

Most of the time a simple gesture means more to me than expensive planning.

Yes, like when my football playing cousin will dress up in an old wig an apron to make everyone laugh while we are trying to empty out my grandparents house. It has just been sold, my Grandmother died back in November and we have to get it cleaned out by the 27th. So his comedic humor was strategically timed to keep everyone from crying but watching him prance around in drag was worth it.

Yes it has.

I was on holidays in the rural area of the Philippines. I was "talking" to an elderly couple one day and they invited me in to their hut for lunch. These people were dirt poor yet they were prepared to share their food with me. In a way, it was the best meal I ever had and it was only boiled rice and boiled fish but the only thing left on my plate, when I finished, was the bones. No way in the world was I going to insult them and tell them I don't like boiled fish and plain rice.

Yes! I have been pretty upset about a young patient we lost last week. Was pretty sad, and it's really had me down. Tonight her husband was on the unit, he hugged me and assured me that we / I took very good care of her, and him and his family were going to be fine.
Meant a lot to me. I had to make myself quit crying so I could continue working.

Yes!
A smile
A nod
A pat on the back
A wink
A kiss
All sorts of little things mean the world, when done at just the right moment.
