i think we should pull out because all we are doing is getting killed over there. there is absolutely nothing we can do to have the Sunnis and Shiites like each other and stop fighting. it is a lost cause.

There's lot to fix in their own country (USA). So PULL OUT and spend the time, energy & money for good cause - to build USA like fixing high education, living & medical costs, provide free/low cost medicine to HIV patients, eradicate racisim, rebuild new Orleans and help those people, try building good relationship with the world and not bully/exploit them, eradicate gun culture which is harming universities & schools like VTU, fix imbalance in WTO, agree to Kyoto protcol & invest in greener energy and cut carbon emissions to slow down global warming, clean up the politics of corrupt men like Scooter libby, Dick cheney ...... and whole lot more.

We are going to stay in.

No realistic redeployment plan proposes a complete withdrawal from Iraq; Some sort of occupation and/or peacekeeping force will be needed for a considerable time. A complete withdrawal from Iraq would so badly destabilize the Middle East that the whole thing could blow up.

Fact is, what will force the redeployment will not be the casualty count, which is not terribly high compared to past wars, but the cost of the war, which is going up and will cause long-term economic impacts.

There are any number of essentially Islamic countries where Sunnis and Shiites get along. There are a number of other issues working in Iraq, including Al Qaeda. The real problem in Iraq is that the Iraqi government has failed to gain any kind of momentum. Much of that is probably external pressures, but it was a weak government to begin with.

A full occupation might resolve the problem, but it may be too late to even suggest that.

If the armed forces pulled out of Iraq now, it would be chaos, which would probably lead to a similarly corrupt group of people coming to power.

Currently I believe that Iraqi's that are joining the Iraqi army to help stabilize their country and fight for their people's rights, are getting kidnapped and tortured to death by those against the western presence and the puppet government.

anyway, I doubt that Dubbya would wanna let go of the 54th state or whatever it is your up to with Afghanistan.

It would be an extremely terrible idea to pull out. Iraq is an acting battlefront against Al-Qaeda. Most people seem to forget 9/11 because it happened six years ago, but terrorism is real. If we aren't actively engaging countries that harbor terrorists and have governments that refuse to stop these terrorist factions, then we will see the ill results of our inaction. Do you think Al-Qaeda just organized the attack on the WTC, and then said "mission completed" and quit? No, they are planning future attacks all the time. If we do not take an active role in reforming countries that harbor terrorists, then we will begin to see more bombings in America, or even possibly the rape and murder of our children in their schools, as occurred in Russia.
So, we could pull out now, but these terrorists will then bring the fight to us. I believe many people will be preaching a different sermon about Iraq when that happens

Our country needs to pull out of Iraq. George Bush doesn't realize it, but too many Americans are mad about all the killing. All you hear about is killings going on, in Iraq. That war is just causing too much commotion.

if we pull out now it will leave a bigger mess then what we started with. Then we will have way more terrorist to deal with. It would be a big mistake to pull out now. They do not know how to take care of themselves efficiently yet. Yes that is our problem bc we took there leader out even though he was a bad man that is all the new and we need to teach them how to live without him. They still have terriost that are running a muck that need to be taken care of. As soon as the people know how to take care of themselves pretty well then we can pull out soldiers out. I understand why people want them out i would want them out too but it would be a mistake to pull them out i belive it would hurt us in the long run bc then the other terriost would see this as us being scared of them and would attacks us again in our country. We need to stand our ground and show them once they hurt us we are relentless and we will get the people who got us first DO whatever it takes do so. We need to have a backbone if we dont we are screwed.

Our unique objective became to discover the WMDs. That objective is performed...there have been no longer any. Our next objective became to have regime exchange. That objective is performed. Saddam is long gone. Our next objective became to deliver approximately democracy interior the region. final I checked, the "demo" section ability human beings. that's rule by ability of the individuals. we aren't the individuals. we could have imposed a defense force rule for a quantity of time, yet we did no longer. The time for that's handed. Now this is genuine we destabilized the region, and bumped off the only controls that have been combating a civil conflict from occurring. it is likewise genuine that each and every 17 November interior the international got here to Iraq to kill our troops. as long as we are there, we are attracting a terrorist ingredient to Iraq previous the Iraqi communities that are scuffling with one yet another, yet whilst we circulate away, there'll rather much truly be a civil conflict. it is not a sturdy situation no rely what we do, yet i don't have faith democracy could be imposed on an unwilling group of human beings, so i think of the belief of "making Iraq a functioning us of a" isn't some thing we are able to do. This objective became unrealistic and misguided from the start. Now i think of realistically it is going to take a year to withdraw, and we probable could desire to negotiate with international locations like Saudi Arabia, who've offered to take part in negotiations, to fill interior the hollow. they have effect from a non secular attitude which could be waiting for use to income. i in my opinion don't have faith this reason is nicely worth American lives, and that i've got faith we are growing to be to be distracted from the pursuit of AlQaeda and different terrorist companies. we've additionally abused and drawn down our national safeguard, who've been completely mistreated financially and in each and every opposite direction in this conflict. we choose them to guard OUR us of a, no longer different individuals's. there'll be issues no rely what we do now, and no rely what great situation human beings on the two aspects of our national divide describe, yet i could vote for paying for our troops out as immediately as we are able to do wisely. that would seem making the final of a undesirable situation.

Major withdrawal is(should be) coming next spring. Wondering why so many GOPs are calling for change now? They know we're running out of troops to send to Iraq. No troops, no war. Starting next spring.

no one in the bush administration cares about the civil war or democracy in iraq. they went in to control the oil. they can only leave when a sunni gov't acceptable to saudi arabia and exxon is in power. this can only be done by a usa backed coup, which is coming some. bush can leave when the oil supply can be controlled.
